Current Website privacy notice

Last updated: September 21, 2026. This notice describes the data handling of Pavvy’s current public Website configuration. Marketplace, payment, matching, Driver onboarding and active-delivery functions may require additional or updated privacy disclosures when those functions are activated.

Who Pavvy is

Pavvy is an Alberta-first, rural-first courier marketplace that connects deliveries with trips already happening. Pavvy connects Senders with independent Drivers; Pavvy does not operate an owned delivery fleet.

What the current Website does

The Website provides information about Pavvy, an Estimate experience and links or entry points to Pavvy functions that are actually enabled. A feature should only be treated as available when the Website presents an active path for it.

In the current Website configuration, Estimate details such as pickup, drop-off and item information are used in the browser and stored in browser session storage so the Estimate result and Edit details flow can work. The current Website configuration does not intentionally send those Estimate entries to a Pavvy estimate endpoint because Website personal-data collection and the estimate runtime are disabled.

Website hosting and automatic technical information

This Website is hosted using Vercel. Like other hosting providers, Vercel may automatically process technical information needed to deliver, secure and operate the Website, including IP address, general location derived from IP, device or system information, request information, traffic data, logs, diagnostics and telemetry.

Vercel is a United States service provider and may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions where Vercel or its service providers operate. Pavvy does not represent this Website as Canada-only hosted or Canada-only processed.

You can review Vercel’s own privacy information at Vercel Privacy Notice.

Analytics, tracking and cookies

Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are not enabled in the current Website source, and Pavvy has not added advertising or behavioural-tracking tags to the current source. Hosting, security or access-protection technology may still use technical mechanisms required to provide or protect the service.

Third-party links

This Website may link to third-party services such as Facebook. If you follow a third-party link, that service operates under its own terms and privacy practices.

Retention

The current Website configuration does not have a Pavvy application database or live estimate endpoint storing the Estimate entries you type into the Website. Infrastructure and security records may be created by Vercel as part of operating the hosting service. Pavvy does not state a fixed Vercel log-retention period here because a specific period has not been verified and approved for public disclosure.

Security

Pavvy limits inactive Website functions by keeping their live data and transaction paths disabled until the relevant controls are approved and connected. No Internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your privacy choices and requests

Where Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) applies, individuals may request access to personal information held about them and may request correction of inaccurate personal information, subject to the Act. Privacy questions, written access or correction requests, and questions about Pavvy’s use of service providers outside Canada can be sent to Pavvy’s Privacy Officer at privacy@pavvy.ca.

privacy@pavvy.ca is privacy-only. It is not a general customer-support or active-delivery support channel. Immediate physical emergencies should use 911 first.

Changes to this notice

Pavvy will update this notice when verified production data flows, providers, purposes, retention rules or cross-border processing facts materially change.
