HOW PAVVY WORKS

Simple for the Sender.Independent for the Driver.

Start with the delivery basics. A delivery only proceeds when a compatible Driver chooses to accept it.

01

Enter delivery basics

Pickup, drop-off and item details come first.

02

Review Pavvy’s quote

See Pavvy’s platform-calculated quote before you continue. No bidding or price negotiation.

03

Complete your order

Sign in when needed and finish the remaining order details.

04

Pavvy shows the opportunity

Independent Drivers already travelling a suitable route may see it.

05

A Driver decides

The Driver sees payout and route fit, then freely accepts or declines. If no Driver accepts, the delivery does not proceed.

FOR INDEPENDENT DRIVERS

Already making the trip?

Existing trip first. Opportunity second.

See the net payout and route fit before you decide. You might be leaving rural Alberta for Calgary or heading back the other way — Pavvy does not assume every Driver starts in a city.

  • Use your own vehicle.
  • See net payout, route fit, added distance and added time before you decide.
  • Accept or decline opportunities freely.
  • No fixed shifts or mandatory assignments.
  • Weather and road safety come first.

WHY PAVVY

A small delivery need can still become a long-distance problem.

Pavvy gives people, families, rural communities and local businesses a practical way to help one another along the routes they already travel.

01

Rural access can take disproportionate effort

Parts, supplies and ordinary items may be concentrated in larger centres even when the need is small.

02

Trips already happen anyway

People already travel Alberta highways for work, family, appointments, shopping and business needs.

03

Connection works both ways

Rural ↔ urban movement can support practical family, community and business needs in both directions.

Questions about Pavvy

View all questions →
What is Pavvy?

Pavvy is an Alberta-first, rural-first courier marketplace built around trips already happening.

What if no Driver accepts?

A delivery only proceeds when a compatible independent Driver chooses to accept it. Matching and timing are not guaranteed.

How does pricing work?

Pavvy calculates the Sender quote using road-route distance from pickup to drop-off, together with other approved factors where applicable. Pavvy does not use Sender bidding or price negotiation.

What can be sent?

Pavvy uses Eligible / Manual Review / Prohibited goods categories. Items over 25 kg and oversized or irregular items require Manual Review. The applicable item rules are checked before a request can proceed.

Does Pavvy set a Driver’s route or schedule?

No. The model is built around trips the Driver is already planning. Pavvy can surface compatible opportunities, but the Driver decides what fits.

How do I become a Driver?

Driver registration is not currently open. When it becomes available, the Become a Driver entry will guide you through the registration flow. Drivers remain independent providers and decide which opportunities fit.
